The "Suzhou, China with Style" cultural and tourism promotional event was recently held at the Izmailovo Beta Hotel in Moscow, the capital of Russia. Seven cultural tourism enterprises from Suzhou, including the Suzhou Tourism Innovation Research Association, Suzhou Heping International Travel Agency and Suzhou China Travel International Ltd., the Russian Travel Association "World Without Borders", the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, and 31 tourism units participated in the event.
At the event, representatives of travel agencies, hotels, and other cultural tourism enterprises of Suzhou presented a wide range of cultural tourism products to the Russian tourism circle via vivid PowerPoint slides and absorbing explanations. Heping Travel Agency rolled out unique tourist routes and service brands such as "Yi Jiangnan (Remembering Jiangnan, or regions south of the Yangtze River)" and "Pinwei Shanshui (Appreciating Mountains and Waters)." The innovative tourism products such as "Travel+Suzhou-style Noodles" wonderfully crafted by Suzhou China Travel International Ltd. won warm reviews on-site. From classic tours of gardens and ancient towns in Suzhou and burgeoning leisure tours to parent-child tours and tours featuring sports and research-oriented study, the meticulously designed products will help every guest present at the event have unique experiences in Suzhou.
The tourism resources and products of Suzhou were highly recognized by the Russian Travel Association "World Without Borders" and the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, who also expressed strong desires to conduct in-depth cooperation with Suzhou's cultural tourism enterprises. The two sides had deep communication in various fields including opening up tourism markets, promoting tourism products, and elevating service quality together. Suzhou Tourism Innovation Research Association and the Russian Travel Association "World Without Borders" signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Besides, many tourism enterprises from Suzhou and Russia reached multiple consensuses on cooperation.
